Hard work, perseverance and guts - that's what it takes for a home school student to make it to West Point.... Christine knows firsthand! When Christine first started talking about West Point, her mother, Ruth Murray, and I were surprised and a little anxious. Can a home school family get all the information needed? Can a small-town, home school girl meet all the requirements? Can Academy Northwest really help? The answer to all of those questions is a fantastic yes!!!

Christine has worked unfailingly and intently! Her parents have been her rock of support. I was thrilled to be her Family Academy® advisor/teacher/cheerleader. It was difficult and frustrating at times, but worth every hour. I know Christine would want to say to everyone reading this, "Go for it! You can do it if you work hard and persevere. Start in your sophomore year and never give up on your goal!" Congratulations, Christine! We're so proud of you!
