Benjamin Anderson has spent time in homeschooling, classical Christian schools, and Running Start. His interests range from writing poetry to playing blue grass guitar to working on the computer. In December 2004, he participated in the historic Washington gubernatorial race hand-counting votes. This past March Benjamin went on a mission trip to Mexico, fulfilling a long-held desire. He is grateful for the any faithful teachers he has had, who have set a Godly example for him and encouraged him to think Biblically in all areas of life. Next year he will be attending Capernway Bible School in England.

Tyler Anderson has attended Academy Northwest for four years, three of those years at Lewis County Learning Center, with two of the greatest teachers, Linda and Loren Krenelka. He enjoys playing basketball, golfing, hiking, sailboat racing and anything that get him out doors. Tyler plans to spend the summer hiking the mountains of Washington and in the fall join the Navy Sea Bees. He would like to thank God and his parents for their loving guidance and help through the high school years.

Kristian Armstrong began playing hockey at the early age of three. His natural athleticism and love of the game had him competing in tournaments all over the US and Canada by the age of eight. He credits his Dad and his two older brothers, Ian and Kellee, for helping him with his hockey skills from day one. Kristian also enjoys long walks on the beach and dancing in the rain. He would like to thank his parents for their unconditional love and support. He also wants to give a shout out to his friends, his sisters, and adorable nieces, Maddy and Reily.

Shayna Bagley may well be called an activist for her people, and she started young. She was Historian for Kingston Jr. High Native American club and was also Miss Native American Club 2001-2002. She is involved in the retrieval of her native language Lashootseed, and taught the language to youth during the summer of 2003. Shayna is very involved in Wellness programs and has attended many youth conferences such as, Northwest Indian Youth Conference, Unity Conference, Adventures in Team Building and the Gathering of Nations Pow Wow. She is an active member of the Suquamish Youth council for the second year, and has gone on the last three canoe journeys of the costal Salish people. She was also Chief Seattle Days Princess 2003-2004. Her desire, at this time, is to pursue becoming a dental assistant.

Anthony Wayland-Banker loves a good time, whether at work, or in his spare time. He makes the best of what is given to him. While sharpening his skills in the world of granite, he always makes time for his loved ones and friends. His hobbies jump from skating to working on his car, to playing football, and even just hanging around. Anthony's love for life inspires him to keep writing and thinking positively. Anthony wants to thank everyone who helped him, and most of all, everyone who doubted him, because, look-he's made it!

Jennifer Bickford has enjoyed her time at Academy Northwest. She enjoys traveling and hopes to continue. Jennifer would like to thank her parents, family, and friends, for all of their support and encouragement throughout her life.

Jessilyn Biesiedzinski entered Lake Marcel Academy as a sophomore in high school. Since entering she has excelled academically. Her interest focuses around the world of purebred dogs, having participated in dog related activities since she was 10 years old, including 4-H and AKC competition. Jessilyn has traveled to New York twice to compete in the Westminster Kennel Club show. Her participation in 4-H led her to the presidency of her club that has over 70 members. Jessi's future ambitions center on professional exhibition and care of purebred dogs and operating her own business.

Laura Bigelow began her school career as a dual enrolled student at Snohomish High School and Academy Northwest. After noticing that her grades improved after her enrollment with Academy Northwest she withdrew from Snohomish and became a full-time student with Academy Northwest for her own benefit. After graduation Laura plans to attend community college to earn a nutritional therapist degree. If she likes her introduction to the field of nutrition she plans to continue, if not, Laura will set her sights on an art institute to study interior design.

Lidia Bisorca enjoyed the Godly environment and her loving teacher during her time of enrollment. In 1989 Lidia moved to Portland from Romania with her mother, father, five brothers, and sister. At times, it was rough being from a large family, but it has always been worth it when you needed someone to talk to. Lidia would like to thank her mother and father for their great love and support. She also thanks her brothers and sisters for their encouragement, which has helped her reach her high school graduation.

Kimberly Boisselle enjoys working on the family farm, playing music in the Yakima Youth Symphony Orchestra, acting in theatrical productions and studying math. She also loves her job as a piano teacher, and as a volunteer at a nonprofit organization called Life Choices. She looks forward to studying nursing at Northwest University in the fall.

Christian Bortes ' hobbies include playing with his puppy, watching movies, and playing video games. He too has benefited from the Godly guidance and his loving teacher. Christian especially wants to thank his mom for her love and encouragement, as well as his family and friends for their love and support.

Travis Brotherson has spent many years playing soccer. He enjoys playing guitar and listening to music. He works very hard and has been very responsible working at a part-time job. His parents are very proud of him! Travis plans to attend Green River Community College in the fall.

Rose Brunk is beyond excited to be graduating high school a year early. She enrolled in Academy Northwest her sophomore year as she could work at her own pace. Rose's interests include coffee, books, rock 'n' roll, pictures, sandwiches, soup, dancing, hot-tubing, and clothes. She really, really likes shoes too. Rose hopes she will be lucky enough to land a job combining all of these things. Until then, she plans to surround herself with beauty and knowledge in their many forms. Rose wants to travel, and maybe lie on the beach for a while; she may even get in the water.

Christa Chandler began taking ballet lessons at the age of four, and is currently involved in tap, hi-hop, jazz, and point. She was caste as the "Snow Queen" in this year's production of the "Nutcracker". Christa is also a Columbia Gorge Dance Academy Company member and performs regularly. This yea she was privileged t vacation and windsurf in Baja, Mexico with her family. This fall Christa plans to enroll in the Mt. Hood Community College cosmetology program. She would like to thank her dance teachers for all of their hard work and dedication, and her family for loving and supporting her.

Lauren Christie attended Academy Northwest for two years. Nancy Taylor, her instructor, has taught her and guided her amazingly. Lauren learned more in the past two years than any of the year's she spent in previous schools. She plans to attend school in the fall in Burbank, California. Her goal there is to succeed in makeup artistry and become famous for it.

Chad Clark attended Academy Northwest for four years making many friends and building friendships. His spare time is spent with his girlfriend, playing guitar, hanging out with friends, and working on his car. This summer he plans to work and just enjoy life.

Elizabeth Clogston leaves Academy Northwest with fond memories, including the opportunity to attend the Young Americas leadership Conference, rowing with Lake Stevens Rowing Club, and dearest of all, The Magical 5. Next year Elizabeth plans to attend Washington State University to prepare for a career in nursing.

Michael Cordero doesn't see himself the way his family and friends do. He says he loves sports, basketball, and baseball, like all the other guys, but his real gift is with people. Michael has sweetness and charm that can move others, and a sense of humor that is rare. Michael can make you laugh so hard you cry, and he is a born stand-up comedian. Since he would like to own his own business some day, he only needs to discover where to put his energy, and the business will boom. People will flock just to be near him.

Elisabeth Cunningham has been actively involved with her church throughout high school, going on mission trips to San Quentin and Tijuana, Mexico as well as to Aniak, Alaska. She is CPR and first-aid certified and works for Duvall Fitness as a receptionist. Elisabeth will attend Covenant Bible College in Alberta, Canada with the goal of becoming a teen counselor in the field of self-injury, and to open a safe house to work with those in rehabilitation.
