Andrea Dolenc is really thankful for the great learning experience he has had at Academy Northwest. He is really thankful for all the hard work his teachers have done to help him complete the graduation requirements. Andrea is interested in experiencing college and learning new things. What he most would like to do with his life is to play professional football.

Daniel Donnelly has learned much from his instructors in preparation for life ahead during his four years at Academy Northwest. He enjoys soccer and has played organized soccer since the age of five. Soccer accomplishments include a trip to Germany, playing for a Premier 1 club based in Seattle, and earning a position on the cascade High School Varsity soccer team from his freshman through senior year. Daniel has received a full four years Army ROTC Scholarship at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington and plans to major in Political Science.

Elise Ewijk is a giving person that enjoys interacting with all kinds of people. Her favorite thing to do is to spend time with her fiance, family, and her dog, Clyde. Elise played recreation soccer for nine seasons and also rides dirt bikes. She is currently a fitness technician and will be attending the Gene Juarez Beauty Academy in the fall. Her positive attitude is her greatest strength. Elise's goals include owning and operating her own salon and spa in Florida.

Bonnie Fenison has lived in the country all her life. She loves camping, hiking, swimming, reading, and playing the piano. She has two pets, both dogs, four siblings, and two loving parents, who have helped her through the tough time this year. Bonnie would like to say a special thanks to her mom who has been a wonderful teacher and outstanding mother. She is not sure what God plans for her future, but she is willing to follow wherever he leads.

Matt Forster joined the Lewis County Learning center team his junior year. He has enjoyed the opportunity, experience and blessed partnership with the Krenelka's. This summer Matt plans to attend the four-year apprenticeship program at the Operating Engineers Regional Training Center in Ellensburg, Washington. Matt enjoys hunting, fishing, playing basketball, and just hanging out with his family and friends. He would like to say thank you to his parents for providing, encouraging, and being there for him. Matt has a special thank you for his Grandpa Wear for all the time, teaching patience, and fun growing up with "papa".

Kimberly Fournier was born in North Carolina and attended schools in North Carolina, England, Texas and Washington. She loves to travel and has seen all but one of the states, traveled across Canada, vacationed in Scotland, Greece, France, and Hong Kong. Kimberly enjoys working with children. She is very athletic and loves to dance—anything from jazz to swing. She kayaks with her family and friends and is an avid hockey fan. When Kimberly is not traveling or playing sports, she is active in her church youth group, choir, and is a Eucharistic Minister. Kimberly is looking forward to continuing her education in Fashion Design and Heirloom sewing.

Kyle Furney has lived in Poulsbo his entire life and has made many friends. He enjoys all outdoor activities, especially camping and fishing. He has traveled to Central America several times, and plans to see much more of the world. His hobbies include snowboarding, long boarding, and automobiles. This fall he will attend Olympic College to explore the business world.

Natalie Galagurova enjoys going to church, reading her Bible, and hanging out with friends. Currently she is working at Wendy's, but after graduation she plans to become a hair stylist. Her future plan is to open her own styling salon. While Natalie is happy to graduate, she says she will miss high school a little bit, and wants to thank her teacher, Penny, and her parents for believing in, and always being there for her.

Krystal George is the daughter of Joe George and Robin George and is a member of the Suquamish Tribe. Her attendance at graduation today is a way to honor her mother, Robin, who passed away from cancer this past October. Although Krystal knows that her mother is with her in spirit, nonetheless, she loves and misses her dearly. Krystal is engaged to a great guy named Chris, enjoys camping, writing, journaling, and children. She is interested in going to medical school and would love to become a pediatrician.

Milo Gillis has been with Robin Summerfelt since the 5th grade. He loves anything to do with cars and hopes to have a career involved with them in some way. Milo has been active with his church youth group learning to do sound and lighting. He has a heart for the Lord and the whole world is waiting for him.

Christian Gotur moved to Portland in 1994 and attended Centennial High School for 9th and 10th grade before enrolling with Academy Northwest. He has made many friends and has had an opportunity for an education in a comfortable learning environment from an experienced and very capable teacher, Ms. Penny Collier. During the seventh grade Chris began to repair motorcycles—graduating to automobile repairs. After graduation Christian hopes to become a mechanic.

Sarah Greisen wonders where the time has gone. Today is the day for which all kids cannot wait. Her friends mean more to her than they will ever know. Next year Sarah will attend discipleship training school with YWAM. The future now awaits and she cannot wait to see what God has planned for her.

Charise Gutierrez has been with Academy Northwest for a decade and enjoys movies, music, and traveling. In her spare time she loves to research, read, and cook. Charises' future plans include: working at a job that she likes, attending college, and traveling around the world before settling down.

Mark Haynes has played baseball all his life. He loves music and is a wonderful guitarist with a life dream to sky dive and go to Europe. Mark has always worked at one job or another. He has had jobs with the City of Poulsbo Public works, with a Christmas tree farm, and has worked in his Dad's hobby store. His future goals are to attend college (although he is not sure of a major at this time) and to fulfill another life dream by becoming a pilot.

Spencer Hieam has finally made it. He's out of school and ready to begin his career as a realtor. He is going to have an unforgettable summer with his friends, before starting work on his class to help him achieve his goal. He also would like to move out, support himself and drive a really HOT new car. Spencer thanks his family for their support with everything!

Tara Hood has traveled to Mexico, Maui, Hawaii, New York, and Florida. She is currently working at Pizza Factory in Kingston and attending Olympic College to finish her general education requirements before transferring to a school of interior and fashion design.

Jessica Horky has considered herself ready to graduate for about four years, so she is excited that her parents, teachers, and Washington State finally agree with her. Jessica writes prolifically in the form of a weekly column for the Monroe Monitor, and free verse for her own emotional and spiritual health and joy. Although Algebra equations, insurance bills, and relational "learning experiences" have seemed overwhelming at times, Jessica is thankful the God's stubborn, persistent love has always booted her out of her comfort zone to something unimaginably higher. She hopes God will someday use her to rock the world.

Tim Humble has attended four years at Academy Northwest with the help of Debbie Mazur, Teacher consultant. In his spare time Tim enjoys roll playing games, martial arts, and collecting a wide variety of weapons, and listening to music. Bird watching has become an enjoyable hobby. Future career plans include becoming a Certified Auto Mechanic, and learning to become a blade smith. Travel plans include a trip to Ireland to learn about his ancestors.

Marshall Hunt is an outgoing young man, and his parents are proud to say he is a hard-working young man of integrity, kindness, and helpfulness. He has spent his school years volunteering in the local public school's Host program and at the Theler Wet Lands. He works as the groundkeeper at Selah Inn and Conference Center. Marshall's goals are to finish high school, continue working so save for college, and wait for the Lord to direct his path.

Abigail Hutt has been homeschooled most of her life. She attended Shoreline Community College for the last two years and will graduate with her Associates degree at the end of summer quarter. She plans to attend Seattle Pacific University for the remainder of her college experience. Abbie is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, on the National Dean's List, and is published in Who's Who Among American High School Students.

Nickolas Isely has studied with Mrs. Jones for the past three years supplementing his studies with classes at Legacy Co-op in Redmond and Edmonds Community College. Nick is involved in power lifting and a self-defense jujitsu class. This interest and an academic scholarship have inspired him to pursue a career in athletic training at Kansas Wesleyan University. Nickolas is active at his church, enjoys playing the trumpet, and works at St. Luke's after school. He is thankful for the many individuals that have helped him in his academic achievements.

Loretta Ives ' research paper was on reviving the native Culture and that is her passion. She was only two when she wore her own regalia and danced before others; that was the birth of pride in her people. She is Suquamish with a warrior's heart, and has overcome many obstacles in her own path. She and her family are known to make some of the best Indian Tacos this side of the Mississippi. You must come try them! They often have a booth at Chief Seattle Days. Loretta makes beadwork, cradleboards, and regalia; she is also a poet and loves animals, especially her dog, Cedar rose. After graduation she will eventually attend college. Whatever she does, her fiery spirit will take her far.

Tim Jacobson has only been attending HillCreek Christian for one year. Since his enrollment he has started to realize his full potential. This change has been life altering and for this opportunity he wants to thank his family, the High family, and everyone else that has helped him along the way.

Mark Jelsing has been rowing for two years and won a silver medal at the national competition in Cincinnati, Ohio in the junior men's double. Mark enjoys playing guitar, bass, and drums, and has also taken voice lessons for the last four years. He plans to attend either Whitworth College in Spokane, or the University of Washington. After college, Mark plans to attend chiropractic school and continue rowing.

Katherine Kaeli Joyce 's dad, mom, and teachers, have been incredible and encouraging leaders. High school with Academy Northwest has been a fantastic blessing in her life. As a sophomore she went to Ukraine on her first mission trip. In 2004 she spent three months in England and two months in the Philippines with her family on a Discipleship Training School. This was all in line with what she love most—traveling and following Jesus. Kaeli's other joys are being with friends and laughing. This autumn she plans to attend Centralia College to begin her nursing degree.
